They have four flanges molded in so you can 'push' them into a 12mm drill hole in any material up to 1.5mm/0.06" thick. This makes them great for outdoor signage. The UCS1903 IC powers this strip, which delivers better stability than WS2811/SM16703, making it ideal for outdoor building facade lighting. However, it only has one data transmission line and cannot resume from a breakpoint, so it's more expensive than WS2811.

This strip can be controlled with K1000C or K8000C pixel controllers to achieve multi-color control, but it can also be used with normal LED strip controllers (such as T1000S or ALT-C01). It comes with 3pin JST-SM connectors on both ends of the cable for power and ground connections. This allows you to hook it up with other pixels or inject power in case of voltage drops. Each pixel is also individually cuttable (3 integrated RGB LEDs per segment), so you can make it shorter or longer and connect it as needed. This LED strip is great for home and commercial indoor/outdoor lighting, architectural and stage lighting, plus art installations.
